Microsoft Excel VBA – Post Training Activity 3

In your second macro which you created in activity 2, we are adding up extra flexibility in your existing macro. I want your macro to store the result in a new excel file. Follow the below steps to achieve it.

  1. Create a new excel file
  2. Save that file in a name “Region Report” in a specific location of your choice
  3. You need to get the region name from the user through an input box (which you already completed in the activity 2)
  4. Store that value in a variable (which you already completed in the activity 2)
  5. Use that variable value in the filtering criteria to generate the report (which you already completed in the activity 2)
  6. Copy the filtered data to Sheet 1 of the newly created excel file(Region Report)
  7. Save that new file and close that file
